Mr Vakharia brings extensive experience and advanced specialist training, particularly in laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery. He is also a Consultant at Barnet Hospital, part of the Royal Free NHS Trust, where he previously served as Clinical Director for Women’s Services for five years.
After qualifying from the Royal Free & University College Medical School, Mr Vakharia completed his training in the North Central & East Thames rotation, with additional advanced training in minimal access surgery at Birmingham Women’s Hospital. This has allowed him to develop expertise in managing a wide range of gynaecological conditions through minimally invasive techniques.
Mr Vakharia regularly provides care for patients with conditions such as endometriosis, ovarian cysts, fibroids, adenomyosis, heavy menstrual bleeding, ectopic pregnancy, miscarriage, and polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). He also supports those with pelvic pain, period pain, fertility concerns, and general gynaecological issues.
